To Request Enrollment, there are a few steps we require to comply with Tripanick-Nansemond Tribal and Federal Requirements.
A message from the Chief to all who are considering application to the Tribe.
We are an all inclusive family organization who welcome documented proven family members. Currently our numbers are growing through 200.
The responsibility for providing all required undeniable proof of family connection lies with the applicant. This proof is required by the Tribe and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Each assertion of proof must be accompanied by adequate historical proven documents such as birth, death, marriage, divorce certificates, as well as land deeds, census reports, just to mention a few.
Make no mistake any application submitted failing to meet this standard will be returned for further action by the applicant.
Our enrollment staff provides verification of your historical documents only, we do not provide research services. Each applicant has a unique history, while at the same time can possibly have parts very similar to other applicants or members. For that reason assistance may possibly be found on multiple web sites, some of which are Tribe associated and recommended. See below a list.
